Self Hosting Git(ea)
Well. GitHub has been awesome, but there is something about actually owning a domain and hosting stuff on it. I'm going to be self-hosting a gitea instance for personal use. It will be readable by public but only writeable for me.
This move comes from me wanting more control over my own data and private projects. With this, the projects are actually mine and held by me. If anything goes wrong, it's my fault.
C64 Datassette Expansion
This is my first project with PCB design. It is a simple "expansion" for the Datassette port of the Commodore 64 (possibly compatible with other Commodore computers).
It is a pass through port with pin sockets for mounting additional modules on top. Currently I have received a batch of prototypes for the base/pass through board, with the extra modules still to be designed.
This should allow, for example, to add USB ports for powering other devices (such as the Pi1541) while maintaining access to connect an original Datassette.
The project should be published on GitHub once the base board is tested.
